GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PURCHASERS

ReSee publishes the website accessible at www.resee.com (hereafter the “Website”).
INTRODUCTION
The Website is a marketplace dedicated to the resale of second-hand and vintage luxury fashion items.
ReSee may, in certain cases, act as the seller. Where applicable, this will be clearly indicated on the Product page.
PRELIMINARY ARTICLE – DEFINITIONS
Purchaser(s)
Means any person, either a consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Code or acting in a professional capacity, who purchases Products on the Website.
General Terms and Conditions
Means these General Terms and Conditions governing the relationship between Purchasers and ReSee.
Client(s)
Means any person who creates an account on the Website.
Client Account
Means the personal interface allowing access to Services.
Product(s)
Means second-hand or vintage fashion items listed on the Website.
Vendor(s)
Means any person offering Products for sale on the Website.
Final Sale
Means a Product that cannot be returned, except where required by law.
Services
Means all services provided by ReSee via the Website.
ARTICLE 1 – PURPOSE AND SCOPE
These Terms govern access to and use of the Website and purchases made through it.
By using the Website or placing an order, the Purchaser accepts these Terms without reservation.
ReSee may modify these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of the order.
ARTICLE 2 – RESEE’S ROLE AND LIABILITY
ReSee acts as a marketplace intermediary between Purchasers and Vendors.
Unless explicitly stated, ReSee is not the seller and is not a party to the sales contract.
ReSee does not guarantee Product satisfaction but ensures consistency with Product descriptions.
The Vendor remains responsible for Product conformity and authenticity.
ARTICLE 3 – ACCESS AND USE OF THE WEBSITE
Access to the Website is free.
A Client Account is required to place orders.
The Purchaser agrees to provide accurate information and maintain account confidentiality.
ReSee may suspend accounts in case of misuse or breach of these Terms.
ARTICLE 3 BIS – MEMBERSHIPS
ReSee may offer paid memberships providing enhanced services such as early access, priority processing, or specific return benefits.
Memberships renew automatically unless cancelled.
Membership benefits do not alter statutory consumer rights.
ARTICLE 4 – PRODUCTS FOR SALE
4.1 Description
Products are second-hand or vintage and may show signs of wear.
Descriptions and images are provided for information purposes.
4.2 Pricing
Prices are displayed in euros and include applicable taxes and duties (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid), based on the Purchaser’s location.
Shipping costs are added at checkout.
ReSee reserves the right to modify prices before order confirmation.
4.3 Availability
Products are available while listed on the Website.
If unavailable after purchase, the order will be cancelled and refunded.
ARTICLE 5 – ORDER PROCESS
An order is confirmed once payment is validated.
ReSee may cancel orders in case of error, fraud suspicion, or unavailability.
Order confirmations are sent electronically.
ARTICLE 6 – PAYMENT
Payments are processed securely via third-party providers.
ReSee does not store payment details.
The Purchaser guarantees authorization to use the selected payment method.
ARTICLE 7 – TRANSFER OF RISK
Risk transfers to the Purchaser upon delivery.
ARTICLE 8 – DELIVERY
Products are shipped to the address provided.
Delivery times are indicative.
All deliveries are DDP (duties included).
ReSee is not responsible for carrier delays.
ARTICLE 9 – RETURNS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
9.1 Return Options
ReSee offers three types of return policies:
- Return for Refund
- Return for ReSee Wallet Credit
- Final Sale
The applicable option is clearly indicated on each Product page.
9.2 Return for Refund (Regional)
Eligible items may be returned for a refund to the original payment method.
Conditions:
- Request within 5 days of delivery
- Flat fee of €45 deducted
- Original shipping is non-refundable
Refund issued within 14 business days after approval.
9.3 Return for ReSee Wallet Credit (Cross-Border)
Eligible items may be returned for store credit.
- 100% of item value refunded (excluding shipping)
- Credit valid for 6 months
- Can be used across multiple purchases
Wallet credit:
- Cannot be withdrawn
- Cannot be converted to cash
- Remaining balance stays available
Items purchased using wallet credit are Final Sale.
9.4 Final Sale
Items are Final Sale if:
- Indicated on Product page
- Purchased using wallet credit
- Not eligible under return conditions
9.5 Return Process
Returns must be requested via “My Orders”.
Steps:
- Select item
- Submit request
- Receive prepaid label
- Ship item
Refund issued after inspection:
- To original payment method or
- To ReSee Wallet
9.6 Return Conditions
Items must:
- Be in original condition
- Have tags attached
- Be returned within required timeframe
Non-compliant returns may be refused.
9.7 Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU)
For purchases from professional vendors:
- 14-day withdrawal right applies
- Product must be returned within 14 days
Return shipping cost borne by Purchaser.
Refund issued within 30 days.
ARTICLE 10 – WARRANTIES
Products are second-hand.
Statutory warranties apply where legally required.
Claims must be addressed to the Vendor.
ARTICLE 11 – LIABILITY
ReSee is not liable for indirect damages.
Liability is limited to the amount of the order.
ARTICLE 12 – PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR.
Details available in the Privacy Policy.
ARTICLE 13 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Website content is protected.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.
ARTICLE 14 – FORCE MAJEURE
ReSee is not liable for events beyond its control.
ARTICLE 15 – MISCELLANEOUS
If any provision is invalid, others remain in force.
ARTICLE 16 – MEDIATION
Consumers may use FEVAD mediation services.
ARTICLE 17 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by French law.
Disputes fall under French jurisdiction.
