- Heavily inspired by painter Niko Pirosmani's depictions of life in the country of Georgia, this issue includes images of Georgian locals captured by photographer Brian Griffin and styled by Rei Kawakubo as well as Pirosmani's paintings and photographs by Peter Lindbergh
- Six Magazine was created in 1988 as a biannual publication by Comme des Garçons founder & designer Rei Kawakubo. It ran until 1991, coinciding with the launch of new collections as Kawakubo said "high fashion has to have a mystery about it. This is the next step: visual representation of the collection, purely for image.”
